The effect of new quality principles on foreign language education

The fact that the desired level of foreign language learning in our country is not reached is a phenomenon that has been discussed for years. The problem of not reaching the desired level in a foreign language, which is a problem that every country that wants to integrate with the world, has to solve, is one of the most important problems waiting for a solution especially in the Ministry of Education. In this study, contributions of total quality management to foreign language education and teachers' attitudes and perceptions towards total quality principles were investigated. Through the survey, the opinions of foreign language teachers in primary and secondary schools working in Düzce province were tried to be obtained. In addition, the perception of foreign language teachers towards total quality management was tried to be determined. The population of the study consists of teachers working in primary and secondary schools in Düzce. The sample, with a random sampling of the population comprises of 127 selected teachers. Information was collected from the participants by scale method and this information was analyzed with the help of Statistical software package. Developed by the researcher "Scale of Important Elements in Foreign Language Teaching'' was used as data gathering tool.
