Abstract (EN)
In this study, machine and production parameters affecting quality in speciality yarns have been analyzed by using new generation technical fibers (Carbon, Lenzing FR, Metaaramid, Paraaramid). While obtaining high-quality, optimization of the cost of product has been also aimed in order to improve the its competitiveness in the market.During process of selecting the fiber; its Limit Oxygen Index (LOI) values, preferentiality in the market, workability and cost have been taken into consideration in this study. Yarns have been produced in double, triple and quartet blends with ring yarn production system and sample fabric productions with these yarns have been carried out for its flame resistant tests.Test results belonging to yarns and fabrics have been analyzed by using statistical methods and gathered results have been assessed from the perspective of quality-cost.
