Abstract (EN)
In this study, the new Schiff base ligands derived from condensation of amine and 5-bromo-salicylaldehyde were synthesed. Metal complexes of ligand were synthesed whith Co(ll), Ni(ll) and Cu(ll) salts. All compounds, the Schiff bases and the metal complexes, were characterized by X-ray, elemental analyzes, FT-IR, TGA, UV-vis, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and magnetic susceptibility measurements. Theoretical and experimental data are in agreement with each other .Photoluminescence properties of the ligands and metal complexes are examined. .
