Abstract (EN)

Pain is a health problem that limits the patient's productivity and quality of life. Although there are many analgesics on the market, there are serious concerns about their safety and side effects. Pyrazolines are important as anti-inflammatory and analgesic agents. In this thesis study, in order to investigate the peripheral analgesic effect of 14 newly synthesized Pyrazoline derivative compounds; writhing test induced by i.p. injection with 0.6% acetic acid, a method used to evaluate the antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory properties of potential analgesic agents. For this purpose, each pyrazoline derivative (AE1-AE12) was administered separately at a dose of 10 mg/kg, i.p., in 0.1 ml. All groups i.p. After the injection, acetic acid was injected at 30 minutes and the writhing test was applied. Diclofenac, an effective non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, was used as a positive control. The reduction in the number of writhing was evaluated as analgesic activity. AE-2, AE-3, AE-4, AE-7, AE-8, AE-9, AE-10, AE-11, AE-12 and AE-14 of 14 compounds with AE code which are pyrazoline derivatives It was observed that they were successful in providing analgesic effect by significantly reducing the pain (writhing behavior) behavior induced by rats at 10 mg/kg doses. The study findings show that the inhibition values of these Pyrazoline derivatives in abdominal contractions are close to those of diclofenac. In conclusion, this shows that the synthesized Pyrazoline derivatives have promising potential as analgesic agents.
