Özet (EN)

In this study, different functional groups containing heteroatoms were used to improve the physical and chemical properties of graphite in graphene oxide structure. It was used to functionalize graphene oxide by selecting thiourea among these functional groups. Thus, a new nano particle was created by combining Pt and Ru nano metals as the new product support material created. The newly synthesized PtRu@T/GO nanocatalyst was characterized using different techniques and was used in the methanol oxidation reaction (MOR). Raman spectroscopy, high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) were used to characterize the prepared nanocomposites. As a result of these analyzes, it has been determined that the nanocatalyst has a crystal form, has a good distribution on the support material (T / GO), has the desired size and colloidal structure. After its characterization, it has been tested in studies that it shows high catalytic activity for methanol oxidation reaction.
