Özet (EN)
In this study, two new dithioether-diamine compoundsynthesized. The compoundsare the orjinal startingcompounds to be usedin the synthesis ofmany compounds. Then, eight different new Schiff base containing O, N, S donor atoms were synthesized in EtOH by condensation from the different aldehyde and dithioether-diamine compounds. The Schiff base ligands were characterized by Elementel analysis, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, IR, and mass spectral data. The new Schiff base ligands have N2S2O2 units for the complexation of Cu(II), metal ions. The Cu(II) complexes of Schiff bases have been prepared and characterized by Elementel analysis, magnetic moment, UV-Vis, mass spectral data and DFT/B3LYP/6-31G (d, p) method. In addition, inhibitory activities of ligands and their Cu (II) complexes were tested against to the Glutathione Reductase (GR human erythrocytes and plant GR).
