Abstract (EN)

Natural lighting is indispensable factor which provides a good vision in all limited and unlimited spaces. In recent years, natural lighting systems which is used sun light has been being more important. In this thesis, an integrated solar-optic lighting system containing Fresnel lenses and fiber optic cables is used for illuminating inside of photobioreactor. At noon, luminous intensity of fiber optic cable input and out was measured as theoric which was positioned to focal point of Fresnel lens. Furthermore, total luminous level with Fresnel lens was calculated and compared with total luminous level that was not used Fresnel lens.According to the results, it is determined that Fresnel lens has significantly increased. Additionally, light intensity values from four fiber optic cables which was filled up to a certain level andlight transmission percentage of Fresnel lens was also calculated. For a single Fresnel lens and fiber optic cable, light output intensity, concentration ratio and critic angle of fiber optic cable was calculated. Concentration ratio has shown that Fresnel lens has concentrated a large part of inicident light.
