Özet (EN)
As a result of increasing customer needs and developing technology, it has become necessary for companies to turn to new studies in a competitive environment to protect their assets. There are many risks that are predicted or not considered to be significant in new product development projects. In this study, it is aimed to determine the internal and external risks faced in the process of developing a new product for mask production in a textile company and the sub-factors of these risks and their effects on the project. In this context, the experts in the R&D department of the company and who are involved in new product development were interviewed. As a result of the interviews, the AHP technique, which is one of the Multi Criteria Decision Making techniques, was used in determining the relationships and degrees of importance between the risk factors effective in new product development. The risk score was calculated by integrating the values obtained from AHP with the success factors. According to the findings of the research, it was concluded that while the effects of earthquake, fire and pandemic were the highest among the external risks in the Textile company, the insufficient number of personnel as the internal risk was the highest risk factor.
