Özet (EN)

In recent years, especially in winter, the increase in energy consumption for heating demands have been attracting attention. Nowadays, although the energy supply have been decreasing, energy demands and depends on this, economical external dependence have been increase rapidly. This condition make usage of renewable energy sources, such as solar energy and wind energy, in an efficient way a necessity for a sustainable future. In this study, which is supported by YTU-BAPK, heating system of Yildiz Renewable Energy Building located at Yildiz Technical University Davutpaşa Campus was investigated. Energy and exergy analysis of designed hybrid renewable energy sourced heating system were performed. Also utility of latent heat storage used in heating system was investigated. Results of the study show that the highest heat loses are 1,83 kW and takes place in heat pump. On the other hand the highest exergy lose and destructions are 0,28 and 1,15 kW takes place in Buffer tank-wall heating and cooling Panel cycle and Solar collectors respectively. These loses and destructions in this components are the improvable ways of this system. Usage of this system components together allow the system to supply building heating demands with short working periods contrarily to convensional systems. This decreases the energy consumption of heat pump?s compressor and the other pump?s working on this system. In addition to this by storing excess solar energy during day time allow using it while there is not any solar radiaton. Studies in the way of increasing efficiency of energy systems are important for improving utility of this sources. However storing energy and using it in the time while energy demand increases, will countibute our country both economically and provide demand-supply balance. Concordantly heat storage systems seems worth for research and develop studies for increasing their efficiencies.
