Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of ths study is to analyze the effects of renewable and non-renewable energy consumption on sustainable economic growth in Türkiye. Today, rapid population growth, industrialization, and technological developments significantly increaseenergy demand, while dependence on fossil fuels leads to environmental degradation and economic growth and sustainable development has become increasingly important. This study examines the historical development of the concept of sustainability, the fundamental Dynamics of sustainable economic growth, and the enviromental, economic, and social impacts of different energy types. Turkey's energy consumption structure, ecological footprint, carbon emissions, and green growth indicators are evaluated, and the potentia contribution of renewable energy to sustainable growthis discussed. The findings indicate that the increase in fossil fuel consumption negatively affects environmental sustainability, whereas renewable energy usage supports long-term economic growth and aligns with Turkey's sustainable development objectives. Consequently, the study emphasizes that Turkey must prioritize investments in renewable energy, enhance energy efficiency, and reduce carbon-intensive production processesin order to establish a sustainable growth model.
