Abstract (EN)
The studies of Hekimbashi (Ottoman Empaire's Ministery of Health) the filds in which it worked and the change of it throughout History were mentioned. Our study consists of introduction and three parts. Hekimbashi has been examined in introduction part in the historical process. İn the second part, medical training of Ottoman Empire and tansition of this training from traditional to modernization of education were examined. In the third and last part division of the Hekimbashi's duties were discussed.
