Researching of parameters that cause surface ozane pollution in İstanbul city

ABSTRACTAccording to the increase of industry and traffic the amount of pollutants are also increasing.The surface ozone concentration is made up of the primary pollutants like nitric oxides andhydrocarbons that cause the photochemical reactions with the sun shine.Throughout the year, traffic, industry and households release the precursors of ozone into theair. But, it is only on hot and sunny days that they can be transformed into ozone by sunlight,which is why ozone is a seasonal problem, resulting however from daily emitted precursorpollution.The indications in Istanbul shows us that during summer the ozon level is high. Especially atmidday the level is maximum. At night hours the level decreases again.In this research we examined that in devoloping countries the pollutant parameter that affectsnot only the emission source but also the countries, cause the pike results of the ozone.Meteorological factors and pollutants are examined in different day time for the increase ofthe ozone concentrations.KeyWords: Istanbul, Air Pollution, Ozone, NOx , HC, Temperature, Wind Speed, SunRadiations.
