Source-reporter relationships between local sports reporters and proffesional football clubs of local sports reporters: Eskişehirsport Club example

On the first part of the research, Problem, Purpose, Importance, Premise and Limits are defined. On this part, also news sources of the football clubs are explained through defining the features of sports news and sport and sports journalism. Method is explained on the second part, data and comments are given on the third part.Research is made on the news-source relationships between proffesional football clubs and sports reporters depending on reporters? own opinions. This research is a case study depending on qualitative research. Sources of the local sports media reporters were not different than the news sources in the literature.A question form prepared for news-source relationships of reporters and according to that form, interviews with participants were performed. On this study, it is determined that local sports reporters leaves distance with their sources.
