Abstract (EN)
People recently tend to experience different types of tourism instead of typical sea-sand-sun tourism. Cultural tourism as one of these tourism types remains at the forefront of this new trend. Due to its historical and geographical position Turkey has rich resources with regards to cultural tourism. This study titled as "perception of the potential of local residents cultural tourism in Kaleiçi" aims to measure recognisability of Antalya, Kaleiçi region in terms of local people and their attitudes to cultural tourism as well as providing continuance is sustainable tourism. The three-part study, the first and second part includes the literature reviews about the concepts in the third and final section methodology and the results of the research were given. In the third part, analysis is carried out by using, SPSS 18.0 and frequency, standart deviation, mean,percentile has been used. As fort he reliability of statements Cronbach Alpha has been used. Parametric analysis techniques like one way ANOVA, T-testi were used for measuring the difference between the groups.
