Abstract (EN)

Developing and changing conditions in the world in the tourism sector lead tourists to participate in special tourism activities that appeal to their interests. Tea tourism, which is evaluated within the scope of special interest tourism, has also become a widely preferred type of tourism by tourists since the twentieth century. This study was prepared to determine the relationship between the perception of neophobia tendencies of local people living in Rize regarding tea tourism. Quantitative research approach was used in the study and screening model was used as research model. Araştırmanın örneklemini Rize ilinde ikamet eden bireyler oluşturmaktadır. Data was collected electronically using the survey technique. As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that there is a negative relationship between the decency of neophobia and the perception of tea tourism. It is believed that the results obtained within the scope of the research will contribute to the literature and planning for tea tourism.
