Abstract (EN)

In this study, tried to create conceptual framework by researching the apperence of the slow city movement, philosophy, membership process, criteria. Accordingly of the conceptual framework, examples from the world, the historical, environmental, economic and social structure of the slow city Akyaka is examined. In the research, using method of observation and face to face interviews, as a second data, local newspaper and local magazines are gathered, as well. In conclusion section, stemming from evidences of the sample case ares discussed profoundly.
