Bibliometric analysis of entrepreneurship articles in local literature: Years between 2015-2020

Today, economic crises cause an increase in unemployment problems. Ensuring economic growth, raising the level of social development and welfare vary depending on the methods of restricting unemployment. Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs, who can evaluate economic crises well in this situation changing them to advantages, play an effective role in social development. Bibliometric studies are important in terms of revealing the scientific development process of the topic or the field in the relevant years. The aim of this study is to reveal the bibliometric profile of the entrepreneurship articles in local literature. For this purpose, articles on entrepreneurship published in the "Dergipark Academic" database between 01.01.2015 and 01.01.2021 were subjected to a bibliometric analysis. 736 articles obtained were examined in accordance with the criteria of "the years the articles were published, the number of authors, the titles of the authors, the universities and units of the authors, the journals in which the articles were published and the indexing status of these journals in the Tr Index Ulakbim ". In addition, the articles were subjected to content analysis in terms of their abstracts and their "focused topics" were tried to be revealed out. Accordingly, most of the articles were published in 2018 and mostly were written by two authors and Assist. Profs. The authors of the articles were mostly affiliated to Süleyman Demirel University and they were mostly affiliated to the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in terms of their university and units. Also obtained 736 articles were published in totally 323 different journals, 132 of them were indexed in Tr Ulakbim Index as of 2021, and most of the articles were published in the MANAS Journal of Social Studies Journal. Also, by content analysis, it is found that obtained 736 articles were mostly focused respectively on "entrepreneurship tendency" and "women's entrepreneurship" topics.
