Residential foreigners local service overview: Alanya sample

Evaluation of the services of the municipalities on the basis of permanent foreign residents get in Alanya and their countries, measuring the satisfaction of the services analyses the satisfaction rate and comparing due to their countries are aims of this study that the descriptive research model, subtitle of the quantitative research model, is applied in this research. Questionnarie form is used to collect data. Questionnarie is prepared in English, Russian, German and Arabic language forms. This questionnaires applied in september- december 2016 because most of the permanent foreign residents stay in Alanya in that time. The questionnaire filled in face to face by participants at non-govermental organizations which belong to permanent foreign residents and the local service units that they get service. 317 permanent foreign residents fill in this questionnaire. As a result; They find Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and Alanya Municipality services and information services insufficient and cacth up work is more succesful in their countries. Also Eastern country municipalities supply longer process time comparing with the Western and Northern European country municipalities. However, they find the local municipalities employees' (Alanya, Antalya) attitude is more positive than their countries local employees. Local municipality e-service awareness and users are mostly from Findland and Holland permanent residents. Lastly European permanent foreign residents satisfaction level of their countries local services higher than Alanya local services in the measure of statistical significance.
