Interpretation of ceramic material in the conceptual context in the art of installation and an exhibition

The chaned meaning of art after 1960s along with conceptual art, created an environment of innovative understanding in which the traditional perception of art moved and got rid of fixed rules, and the objects were examined in terms of meaning, concept and intellectuality. This attitude, adopted by the prominent innovative artists of the period, strengthened the aesthetic concern and formalist mentality in the traditional art perception, the art phenomenon that became commodified through gallery spaces, by getting rid of this limited framework, with the powerful and interactive art movements of the period. Fluxus, Art and Language different forms of expression such as Minimalism, Performance Art, Process Art, Arte Povera (Poor Art), Land Art, Installation Art, have continued their influence from the time they were formed to the present day and have influenced many contemporary artists. Each of these formations has played a positive role in the evaluation of art under the title of idea and meaning, paving the way for art practices in different disciplines as well as in itself. The works that support the narrative and integrate with the concept and are produced based on the role of the object in emphasis, provide the viewer with the power to think and establish a bond between the work and the viewer. This change brought together the art of ceramics, which is evaluated within the framework of a limited presentation due to its structure, with a broader and more impressive method like other branches of art. The art of ceramics, the art of installation, with the participation of the space and the audience, started to be used in different forms than the understanding of art above the pedestal. The conceptual structure and production process of ceramic material has brought different dimensions to the ideas and narratives of artists working in different materials and styles, by attracting installation artists with this aspect.
