Determining the satisfaction level of domestic and foreign tourists regarding the restaurants of accomodation operations

This research has been done in order to determine whether there is a difference between domestic and foreign tourists? satisfaction of service in restaurants of accommodation operations.In research, questionnaire technique has been used as data collecting method. The study has been done with 200 domestic and 200 foreign totally 400 tourists in Bodrum in 2011. The questionnaire has two sections. In the first section there are questions to specify demographic features; in the second section there are 26 terms to specify the domestic and foreign tourists? satisfaction level of the service in restaurants of accommodation operations.Obtained data has been evaluated in packet program SPSS 16.0, in addition to frequency and percentage distribution, both arithmetic average and standard deviation values have been calculated. T-Test and ANOVA test have been carried out in order to specify whether there is a significant difference between demographic variables and the domestic and foreign tourists? satisfaction level of the service in restaurants of accommodation operations. The results have been evaluated according to the 0,05 significance level.In the research, it has been ascertained a statistically significant difference between demographical changes such as type of tourist (p=0,000): information source of domestic tourists related to accommodation operations (p=0,002), the domestic tourist? visiting the operation before or not (p=0,031); the age of foreign tourists (p=0,004) and marital status of foreign tourists (p=0,016) and satisfaction levels of service in restaurants of accommodation operations. (p<0,05).
