Investigation of economical aspect of green energy

Due to the many environmental problems facing today, environmental awareness has started to develop on renewable energy. In addition to this awareness for the society; study aims to give a different perspective. Associating green energy with the solution of environmental problems only and ignoring its economical gains, we can not be successful in solving these problems. After the introduction in the first part of the study; renewable energy types, their advantages and disadvantages, the Kyoto Protocol and other international agreements are mentioned in the second part. In the third part; general energy status of Turkey, oil and gas lines and renewable energy situation are considered. In the fourth chapter; energy investments and their economic effects are discussed, the causality relationship between energy consumption and growth is discussed. In the fifth chapter; how to calculate the cost of renewable energy and the unit energy cost comparisons of the resources are shared. In the sixth chapter; it is researched whether renewable energy is harmful to the environment and emission comparison of energy resources used in production is made. In the seventh and last chapter; the data obtained are commented and recommendations are shared.
