Examination of the opinions of adult Syrian refugees and course teachers' on Turkish courses opened with the cooperation of the United Nations and the Ministry of National Education

This study aims to ascertain and assess the views of course instructors and adult Syrian refugees who enroll in Turkish courses launched in collaboration with UNHCR and MNE. One of the qualitative research techniques employed in the study was basic qualitative research. The research's study group is made up of a total of 23 volunteers, including 18 adult Syrian refugees and 5 course instructors, who participated in Turkish classes that were launched in Bursa province's Yıldırım District Public Education Center in collaboration with the UN and MNE. The participants in the study underwent a semistructured interview process. The research's data were examined using content analysis. The study's findings are based on the opinions of Syrian refugees who took Turkish classes and the instructors who taught them, as well as their perspectives on the following topics: "Reason/Purpose of Participation," "Opinions on Language," "The Relationship between the Content Presented in the Course-Subject and Daily Life," "Challenges Encountered," "What Has Been Done to Solve the Encountered Problems," "Shaping Communication Skills," "Expectations It is believed that the research's findings will be useful in delivering better qualified services for the needs of refugees and instructors in the courses, as well as the corrections that must be made for these demands, because there are few comparable studies in the related literature.
