Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the mediating role of resilience and mindfulness in the relationship between attachment styles and levels of coping with stress in adults. In addition, the relationships between the attachment styles, coping with stress, mindfulness and resilience levels of the participants were determined, and it was examined whether these variables differed according to the demographic characteristics of the participants. For this purpose, 479 randomly selected adults living in Turkey constitute the sample of the research. Sociodemographic Information Form, Relationship Scales Questionnaire, Stress Coping Scale, Conscious Awareness Scale and Adult Resilience Scale were used in the study. Relational Survey Model and Mediator Variable Model were used in the study. Independent Sample t-Test, Analysis of Variance, Correlation Analysis, Regression Analysis and Sobel Test were used in the evaluation and analysis of the collected data. When the findings of the study were examined, it was determined that psychological resilience had a mediating role in the effect of adults with secure attachment style on their levels of coping with stress.
