Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relationship between adults' dark triad personality traits and general self-efficacy and romantic jealousy was examined. It was aimed to understand whether there is a significant relationship between jealousy in romantic relationships and self-efficacy and dark triad personality traits. In addition, it was also aimed to understand whether there are differences between groups in terms of various demographic variables. The sample of the study consisted of 418 adult participants, 315 female and 103 male. The questions in the questionnaire consisted of Personal Information Form, Dark Triad Scale (DTS), General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) and Jealousy in Romantic Relationships Scale (JRS). As a result of the analysis, a significant relationship was found between dark triad personality traits and romantic jealousy. There was no significant relationship between general self-efficacy and romantic jealousy. A significant difference was found between women and men in terms of dark triad personality traits and general self-efficacy levels. No significant difference was found between genders in terms of romantic jealousy. The main variables of the study (dark triad personality traits, general self-efficacy and romantic jealousy) were analyzed in terms of various demographic variables such as age, relationship status and relationship duration. The results were reported. Limitations, strengths and recommendations of the study are discussed in the light of the literature.
