Özet (EN)
The aim of this study is to determine the relationships among sleep quality, circadian types, psychological resilience, and anxiety. The study was designed in accordance with the descriptive and relational screening model, which are quantitative analysis methods. The study group consisted of 298 individuals between the ages of 18-65, selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data collection tools were the "Morningness-Eveningness Scale," the "Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), the "Psychological Resilience Scale for Adults (YIPRS)," and the "Beck Anxiety Inventory." Normality tests, descriptive analysis, and tests appropriate to the Chi-Square Test, One-Way ANOVA, and the Parallel Mediation Model were conducted to examine the relationships between variables. According to the descriptive analysis results, the majority of the participants exhibited intermediate chronotype characteristics, had moderate to good levels of sleep quality, did not have high anxiety levels, and had high levels of psychological resilience. According to the analysis results, sleep quality has a negative and significant relationship with anxiety and a positive relationship with psychological resilience. A negative and significant relationship was found between psychological resilience and anxiety. The study also determined that the majority of participants with a morning personality type had good to moderate sleep quality, while participants with a morning personality type had higher levels of psychological resilience than those with a moderate personality type. No significant relationship was found between anxiety and circadian sleep patterns. These results indicate that sleep quality has both a direct effect on anxiety and an indirect effect through psychological resilience.
