Examination of the relationship between individuals anger expression styles, self- perception, social problem solving skills according to the adult attachment styles

The purpose of this study; to determine attachment styles in adulthood how affects individuals anger expression styles, self-perception and social problem solving skills. The research population consist of people in Bursa and sampling consist of people who were randomly selected 114 women, 86 men living in Osmangazi district, age raging between 18-40.In order to collect date in the study ; Relationships scale surveys, constant anger-anger expression style scale, the scale of social comparison and problem solving inventory is used. Frequencies and percentages of the total scores from surveys and scale calculated and adult attachment styles, styles of expressing anger, self-perception and social problem-solving skills are identified. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 softwere. Analysis results ; according to the gender of individuals women than men were found to have higher levels of secure attachment. Men than women were found to have higher levels of trait anger. Women's level of anger than men were found to be higher. According to the age variable; age of individuals was also found to increase the level of anger is growing. According to the variable level of education; high school graduates and less individuals who were found to have higher levels of trait anger compared to other individuals.When individuals in the income level variable; individuals who over £ 3001 secure attachment level was found to be higher than other individuals..Constant anger-anger subscale attachment styles of the groups based on the count of how many siblings and children of individuals, there was no significant difference between self-perception and according to problem solving scale .When comparing attachment styles and problem solving scale, individuals who have been shown to be safe to connect to higher-level problem solving skills compared to others. Individuals who have a secure connection has been found to have higher levels of self-perception than other individuals.The level of self-perception of individuals increases the level of individual problem-solving skills, attention was also on the rise. Individuals who has apprehensive attachments' the scale scores obtained from self-perception and the scale scores obtained from trait anger a significant relationship was found.Consequently,a the level of self-perception of the individual is determined to be a decrease in levels of trait anger.
