PERFORMANCE ANALYSS OF MASONRY BUILDINGS SİVAS SUŞEHRİ AŞAĞISARICA PRİMARY SCHOOL SAMPLE(M.Sc. Thesis)İsmail İsa ATABEYGAZİ UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYJune 2011ABSTRACTMasonry buildings amount high percents of buildings especially in suburbs and rural settlements in Turkey. While masonry buildings are not constructed according to related standarts and regulations, it is inevitable that they are damaged by earthquake. To decide if a construction will be strenghten, it is necessary to ases it?s performance due to ?Regulations about Buildings that will Located at Earthquake Zones? which is come into force in Turkey by 2007.Within the scope of thesis earthquake performance analysis of Aşağısarıca Primary School which is have been achieved by StatiCAD-Yigma software and analytical method considering earthquake performance of structure have been evaluated by aid of results obtoived by analytical calculations and software. Also results of software and analytical calculations are compared and consistency observed.
