Abstract (EN)

Considering the changing consumer demands and increasing quality expectations in the globalization process, it is stated that the most important factor that will create difference is the employees who have innovative business behaviors. Because they are individuals who produce innovative results and ultimately realize innovation. In tourism enterprises that have a place in the service sector, the simultaneous production and consumption of the employees increase the importance of innovative business behaviors according to other business areas. The innovative work behaviors of employees are influenced by many factors. The aim of this study is the Mediating Role of psychological empowerment in the relationship between transformational leadership and innovative work behaviour in the food and beverage staff. The study was carried out with the survey method of 700 employees working in food and beverage departments of five star hotels operating in Antalya province. As a result of the study, the effect of transformational leader on innovative business behaviors was found in the enterprises included in the research and it was found that psychological empowerment played an intermediary role in this interaction. In addition, a positive and significant relationship was found between the variables. In line with these results, the enterprises that want to produce outputs that offer value to their guests, the transformational leader in increasing innovative business behaviors, need to comprehend the importance of psychological empowerment variables.
