Abstract (EN)
On December 31, 2019, a new Coronavirus was discovered with the emergence of pneumonia cases of unknown cause in Wuhan, China. The World Health Organization declared this disease, which spread rapidly all over the world, as a pandemic on March 11. On the same day, the first Covid-19 case was seen in Turkey. With the measures taken around the world and in our country, it was aimed to slow down the spread of the disease. However, due to the high rate of spread of the disease, service occupancy and mortality have increased in hospitals. Many studies are needed because the number of cases still has not decreased sufficiently. Our aim in the study is to examine the effects of independent risk factors LDH, CRP, Fibrinogen, Platelet, Lymphocyte values on the severity of the disease and mortality in Covid positive patients hospitalized in the intensive care service. Our study is a retrospective study and was created by evaluating the laboratory parameters of 75 Covid-19 patients hospitalized in the intensive care service of Yozgat City Hospital between April 1, 2019 and May 1, 2020. In our study, 30 (40%) of the patients were female and 45 (60%) were male. The mean age of the patients was 68 (±12.53). DM and pulmonary disease were seen in 28 (37.3%) of the patients. Hypertension was found in 20 (26.6%), kidney diseases in 20 (26.6%), cardiac diseases in 17 (22.6%), neurological diseases in 2 (2.6%) and thyroid diseases in 2 (2.6%) patients. The difference between the first blood taken in the intensive care unit and the LDH, D-dimer, Platelet, and Lymphocyte values before they died or went to the service has a significant relationship with mortality. When the difference between CRP and Fibrinogen values is examined, there is no significant result. There was no significant difference between the duration of the patients' stay in the intensive care unit, the first blood taken in the intensive care unit, and the LDH, CRP, D-Dimer, Fibrinogen, and Platelet values before they died or went to the service. Lymphocyte values were significant.
