Abstract (EN)

In this study was conducted to determine the histological changes in the gills, muscle, liver and intestine tissues of Danio rerio of Yoksorrun 5 EC (Hexythiazox), one of the acaricides used in fight against mite. The study was divided into two groups as control and experiment group. There was no chemical application to the control group. Yoksorrun 5EC was applied to the experimental group as 0.01 ml/L, 0.02 ml/L and 0.03 ml /L. The aquaria belonging to the experimental groups were renewed in a 24 hour interval so that the concentration of the pesticide in the test solution did not change by % 50 of the aquarium waters. 96 hours after the application of the substance, the fish belonging to the experimental and control groups were turned into a permanent preparation by histological methods and examined under a microscope. In study, significant histopathological findings which shows a dose dependent increase were detected in the tissues of the fishes which were affected by acaricide in different doses. As a result of evaluations, it was observed that acaricide Yoksorrun 5EC has negative effects on the aquatic environment and following rules strictly with taking precautions during usage was decided. The negative effects of pesticides can be also minimized to the lowest level by the ratio of meticulousness in taking these measures.
