iiABSTRACTNowadays, the educational system is considerably influenced by thetechnological developments. The need for information is ever-growing, butinformation that is not quickly loses it?s value and therefore cannot satisfy the needs.The number of students is growing every day, on the other hand, the numberof teachers is not growing at the same rate, which brings with it several problems.The most important instrument among the educational technology iscomputer. Attainment of more information in a shorter time, supporting individualand lifelong education use of an online computer as a magazine, newspaper, are themajor reasons behind its wide use.In line with the improvement in technology, the devices used in the onlineeducation started to change. Computers are the newest among those technologies.As a result of these changes, office employes also are expected to use PCprograms like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and quick keyboard typing and of coursetheir computer knowledge should be far more than other PC users. Knowledge andskill are important classification criterion in today?s competitive business world. In-service programs make considerable labor loss. Online distance education willreduce labor loss and financial burden.Distance learning and PC usage occupies an important place in today?sworld. As a matter of fact the use of web-based, alternative educational workshop isa better choice in terms of time saving and cost-effectiveness.Such education was considered as an alternative method for executiveassistants, secretaries and officers who are unable to have education at school due totheir intense workload.
