Abstract (EN)

Enterprises are the system where people come together and meet in common to fulfil their priority activities. It is undoubtedly crucial for enterprises to have good management and managers in order to stand, succeed and develop. A successful manager increases performance by satisfying his/her enterprise, employees and so his/her customers. One of the most important goals of an enterprise is to implement the right management skills in order to possess the successful employees by knowing the human element well. For this reason, management and managers are the most vital organs of enterprises. In the present global conditions where employee element rises to prominence, the behaviours and attitudes of mangers are one of the leading factors that will lead an enterprise to success or failure. Employee commitment, which is a subject constantly researched by different disciplines, is also one of the topics that closely related to the structure and management of the enterprises. It is a well-know fact that individuals, who commit themselves to their enterprises, are more successful, satisfied and act according to their enterprises interests. Therefore, in this study, the effects on employee commitment are examined by shedding light on the behaviours and attitudes of the managers. The relationship between manager attitudes and behaviours and organizational commitment is explained by the related review of literature. Finally, in the study, a questionnaire is applied to the relevant sample group and answers are searched for the topic.
