Ethical behavior of director nurses

Because of the reason that developments in medicine, science and technology lead to the emergence of some problems, the importance of ethics in health field increases over time. Ethics can be defined as the examination that how people should live and the reasons why they need to live in that way. Nurses are in communication with patients, families, colleagues and community who have different, right and wrong personal criterias from each other during their everyday professional practices.Health is a service that is a fundamental human right and has its own characteristics. The protection of health rights and presenting an equal, adequate and quality health care is in the professional and ethical responsibility of members of health care profession. Nursing is an indispensable part of health care. Because of the reason that nursing is based on the concept of maintenance, the management of nursing services and managerial ethics in nursing services were discussed especially in this study. In this context, ethical obligations were explained and the importance of ethical rules were discussed for director nurses in line with the ethical rules of nursing.Keywords: Ethics, ethic principles, ethical behaviour of director nurses
