Abstract (EN)
Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between job stress levels and the conflict management styles used by the nurses in their conflict with their subordinates. Method: The research was carried out with 100 administrative nurses working as a manager in a university hospital, a city hospital, a public hospital and three private hospitals serving in the province of Isparta, volunteering to participate in the research, not permitted or not in the data collection process. In collecting data; Personal Information Form, Job Stress Scale Form and Uterus Organizational Conflict Inventory II-B form were used. The data were analyzed with SPSS 20.0 statistical package program. Frequency, percentage and correlation were used in the analysis of the data. Results: The average job stress level score of executive nurses is 2.40 ± 0.51, according to the job stress level classification, this average; it was found to correspond to the "D" group, which is "the most favorable stress in terms of health and efficiency". It was determined that the styles used by the manager nurses in their conflicts with their subordinates mostly used avoidance style with 3.12 ± 0.73 and integration style with at least 1.54 ± 0.38. It was determined that there was no significant relationship between the job stress levels of the manager nurses and their subordinates and their management styles score averages. Conclusion: It was determined that the job stresses of the manager nurses were at the most appropriate level in terms of health and productivity. It was determined that the nurses used the most avoiding style and the least integrating style in their conflicts with their subordinates. It was determined that there was no relationship between job stress levels and the management styles used by the nurses in their conflicts with their subordinates.
