The effects of a manager?s communication skills on the motivation of employees

In the business world of today, where an intense competition is going on, terms like work perfection, quality and efficiency are constantly heard, where there is a constant change and new complications; the management that considers responsibility and care as a distinctive management function has to pay more attention than ever to the concept of communication. Because the proper execution of management functions and reaching to goals can only be possible with a healthy communication system that works properly. Besides, an organisation needs to be in communication with itself and its surroundings all the time to maintain its existence. Especially the managers have to pay more attention to communication so they can reach to their personal goals and raise their competitive strength and efficiency within the business world. Managers have to know how to use the tools and techniques of communication and benefit from the process of communication to raise effectiveness of their management functions. The importance of a manager?s communication skills in a management is stressed once again in these studies.The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of a manager?s communication skills in a management to the motivation of employees.The study consists of four chapters.
