Abstract (EN)

The management approaches used by the organizations are developing and evolving with the changing needs in the industrial revolution and the following centuries. In our age, companies are in search of something different from the classical management approach based only on IQ. Organizations need to adapt at the systems that are constantly changing and developing where there is high competition. The importance of emotional intelligence for the management capacity that can improve adoption and increase organizational commitment is one of the important study subjects. The effects of emotional intelligence on management skills have been the subject of many studies. Do managers with high emotional intelligence really have a role in raising the performance of their employees? Does a manager with high emotional intelligence increase employee engagement? Do managers with high emotional intelligence have a role in revealing the talents of their employees? In order to shed light on these and similar questions, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the employees in a corporate enterprise using the qualitative method and afterwards the data were interpreted.
