Abstract (EN)
Ill ABSTRACT The indispensable source of the management is, human. By virtue of this fact; workers have got exceptional importance than the other material elements in a firm. The success of a manager and a firm is deeply founded on the motion of workers at a positive, productive way and also their willing about works. This is possible by only motivating the workers for these purposes. Motivation and performance are closely interrelated. It is meaningless to expect productivity and performance from unmotivated workers. The manager who is aware of this reality and who applies various technics in order to motivate the workers is considered more successful. It is certain that if a manager consider the workers like the other elements in a firm, it is impossible for him or her to be successful for a long period. Through the management history, a lot of motivational technics have been used. For the achievement of these technics, it was very important for a manager to make a sincere and informal relation with the workers. It is more motivator to build an informal relation in a firm than the other opportunities and rewards. In this study, topics such as greeting workers, asking their problems, sharing their happiness and building relations with them in a warm and gentle way are examined. According to the research results; the workers who are held in high esteem are getting motivated. The personnel who are in high motivation are more successful and also they contribute to the firm more. For this reason, managers should give the essential importance to the workers' motivation and they also should keep workers' motivation at high level.
