A new approach to improve managerial performance: Balanced scorecard and its application in accomodation companies

For succes of a company the performance should be measured and managed regularly.The classical financial metods, which has been used for this issue, are not enough nowadaysbecause of the global competition. Even though the performance measure method, which iscalled in international literature as balanced scorecard, has been used for a short time, it isbeing used widely throughout the world. In this sense in the first part the meaning ofperformance, than in the second part the blanced scorecard method has been explained and inthe last part this method has been applied for 2 years period in an 5 star accomodationcompany. In the first year of this application the needed precautions for the non accessedtargets has been found out and in the second year the supplement of these precautions hasbeen observed.
