Abstract (EN)
In this experiment was aimed to determine effect of different sowing dates on yield and yield components of safflower plant in Yozgat city ecological conditions. In this study the experimental design was randomized complete block design with three replications in Yozgat Bozok University Agricultural Application and Research Center. In research were investigated plant height (cm) , number of side branches per plant, number of heads per plant, trunk weight (g), 1000 seed weight, crude oil ratio, amount of dry matter, and seed yield per plant under effect of varieties and different sowing dates. The results showed that were different between varieties in terms of the plant height, 1000 seed weight, crude oil ratio, amount of dry matter, and seed yield per plant. Crude oil ratio in Linas, Olas and Balcı varieties (%26.68, %29.32 and %27.71, respectively) were found higher than other varieties. According to sowing dates, were different from plant height, number of side branches per plant, number of heads per plant, trunk weight, amount of dry matter, and seed yield per plant.
