A day old 80 broiler chicks were divided into 5 treatments groups with similar liveweight (44.86 g), containing 16 birds each. Each treatment group supplemented with 0, 50, 100, 200and 400 ppb organic chromium. During the experiment the chicks were reared at conventionalambient temperature (from 30 reducing to 21ºC by 3ºC/week) and 60-70% relative humidity, exceptduring periods of heating when the environmental temperature fluctuated 35-37ºC for 8 hours (09.00to 17.00) per day. Feed and water were always available. Light was provided 24 hours each daythroughout.Performance, carcass weight and yield, abdominal fat weight, liver, heart and gizzardweights, nutrition content in carcass were not affected by dietary supplemental chromium from yeast, but plasma cholesterol (P<0.05, linear), trigliserid (P<0.06, linear), VLDL (P<0.05, linear) andglucose (P<0.05, linear) contents were reduced significant by chromium. The results obtained present study suggest that dietary organic chromium supplementation inbroiler chicks maintained under high temperature had no positive effect on performance and carcasstraits but had some physiological effects as reduced some bloods parametersKeywords: broiler, high temeprature, organic chromium, performance, carcass
