Yükselen populizmin liberalizm üzerinde etkileri

Liberalism is a political system that can be evaluated within a moral, ideological and social framework. Individual freedom and human rights, the limitation of state rights to constitutions, the rule of law, the free market economy, are the basic principles of this system that advocates politically liberal democracy. This study draws attention to the relationship between liberal doctrines and globalization and seeks to answer the question of whether it is possible to be liberal in today's world. Globalization is interpreted as a negative or positive present situation from different perspectives. In this study, the principles of liberalism in economic, political and administrative and cultural fields and the effects of globalization in these fields will be examined using comparative methods in different countries where liberalism emerges. The study also summarizes the issue and argues that the nations that claim to be liberal are wrong, pointing out that even though countries differ in their approaches in some of these areas, they in essence advocate similar liberal doctrines and that the consequences of globalization do not make it possible to be liberal today.
