Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to determine some phonologic, morphologic and agricultural characters of oat genotypes in 2011 year in Yozgat conditions. The experimental design was planed an 11 X 11 alpha-lattice in three replications. In this research, 112 pure lines selected from 2009 and 2010 Quaker nurseries and 9 oat genotypes grown in Turkey were used as material. In this research, mean germination period of plant (15.1-18.9 day), days to panicle emergence (54.0-76.0 day), days to maturity (113.0-133.0 day), plant height (66.0-109.2 cm), main stem thickness (2.11-4.89 mm), number of main-stem node, peduncle length (21.9-44.9 cm), panicle length (14.7-25.8 cm), number of ear per panicle (9.4-49.8 no), number of grain per ear (1.2-2.8 no), number of grain per panicle (21.8-93.4 no), grain yield (96.3-443.8 kg/da), total biomass yield (345.0-1195.0 kg/da), harvest index (% 22.8-47.1), groat percentage (% 67.4-81.1), thousand grain weight (24.0-43.1 g), test weight (34.5-51.0 kg), grain protein content (% 12.0-17.6) and grain oil content (% 3.3-7.5) were investigated. Genotypes were significantly different for all investigated traits. In this research, there were significant and positive relationships between grain yield and plant height, peduncle length, panicle length, number of ear per panicle, number of grain per panicle, biomass yield, harvest index, groat percentage and test weight. There were significant and negative relationships between grain yield and protein content and grain oil content.
