Özet (EN)
In this study, surface active substance was obtained by using flax seed. Inhibition effect of the obtained surfactant on corrosion of soft steel was determined by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and potentiodynamic polarization methods in 1.0 M HCl solution containing 0.5x103 ppm, 1.0x103 ppm, 2.0x103 ppm, 4.0x103 ppm inhibitor. The surface structure of the soft steel was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The inhibitory activity of flaxseed was studied at different concentrations and temperatures. From the results obtained, it was determined that flax seed prevents corrosion by forming a film on the surface of soft steel in 1.0 M HCl solution. According to the results of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, inhibitory activity was found to be 99.9% in the medium containing 4.0x103 ppm inhibitor.
