Back to home: Sense of place, place attachment and dependency

Today's modern era human faces daily working pace in competition which makes him senseless away from his nature. In order to be an existing person in this world who is already alone in universe, sense of place and place depencency are the most basic concepts. In this study, the physical, philosophical and psychological bases of the concepts of home sense and place dependency are discussed and the development of the process in the historical process is explained. First, the perceptual dimensions of the sense of place are expalined which found in experiments, observations and culture by means of physical sense. As a mental category, the products of the scientific thinking which came up today about the home feeling and sense of space are introduced. It is emphasized that time and space are conceptually the spontaneity of a person. It has been explained how the need for place dependence is used by the authorities, especially in the dimension of faith, from the antiquity to the era of today's individualization. It is stated that the cities and spaces of our modern age are naturally the works of this historical accumulation. The structure of the psychological ground that inevitably affects the unhappiness of the person who lost his home concept due to the development of the concept of spatial dependence in the modern age is expalined.
