This it is aimed tohelp the identification of parameters should be changed to maintain the desired fabricproperties.Over this study, rib and single jersey fabrics are produced on differentweights by using ring and open-end yarns. After that these fabrics are processed bywet and dry relaxation. Fabric course and wale density( loopdensity ), width, weight, pilling, bursting strength, breaking strength, tearing strength and elongationproperties of these fabric are examined. Furthermore more information about theknitting yarns, knitting surfaces, knitting machines and etc. are additionally given. In general, knitted fabrics are directly affected by yarn, knitting structure andfinishing processes. Therefore, the end-use properties of a fabric should bedetermined before its production. Accordingly, the yarn type, knitting structure andfinishing process should be adopted to have maximum efficiency for expectationsfrom the products.Key Words: Circular Knitting Machine, Yarn, Knitted Fabric, Relaxation, FabricPropertiesII
