The overall aim of this study is to analyze the appearance, usage, structural qualities, socio-cultural site, and pioneering aspects of camera obscura. All technological, and socio-cultural evolutions from the time that camera obscura known as empirically to the present day analyzed in this study by depending on documentary proofs.The structural evolution of camera obscura, and connections of camera obscura with other optical devices evaluated in context of technology. The socio-cultural extent analyzed after camera obscura become popular. Implications made on effects of the optical tradition on painters and thinkers which begin with camera obscura.The depicting and optical tradition between 16. - 19. centuries, which raised by camera obscura, identified according to the results of the study.
