Abstract (EN)
It is well known that, many engineering and physic problems are modeled mathematically using the convection-diffusion-reaction equation. In the literature, there are different numerical and theoretical studies about the aforementioned problem. In this thesis, the convection-diffusion-reaction equation with time dependent convective coefficient is solved using Crank-Nicolson/finite element hybrid numerical method. Fortran programming language has been used to obtain the numerical solution. Numerical results for different diffusion and time-dependent convective coefficients at different time steps have been obtained, examined, and interpreted.
