Zayd b. Sâbit and his place in fiqh

In this study, some prominent jurisprudence views of Zeyd b. Sâbit, who is one of the leading names of the Companions and whose name is frequently mentioned in the fields of tafsir, hadith, recitation and fiqh, were evaluated. In addition to many of the duties he had undertaken, one of the most important duties he fulfilled in this period was to preside over the commission that made the Qur'an a book and carried out its reproduction. In the study, in order to reveal the fiqh aspect of Zeyd b. Sâbit, his fiqh views that he thought differently with the jurist Companions and that he was effective in shaping the views of the sects and even disrupted the consensus of the Companions in some issues were evaluated. Thus, it has been tried to reveal the subjects that he was influential on the jurists who came in his own period and in the period after him. Again in this study, Zeyd b. Sâbit's mujtahid personality is included. In the study, it is desired to draw attention to the individuality in its provisions by mentioning the points that he thought differently. The evidences he used in his judgment and some of the methods he followed are tried to be explained by giving examples.
