This study aims to stand at the poetic discourse in Zainal Al-Sufi's poetry and to clarify the concept of discourse and the evidence for that from his poetry collections. This study was divided into an introduction and three chapters: In its preface, the researcher dealt with the definition of the discourse and the text, the problem between the discourse and the text, as well as abrief overview of the poet and his literary achievements. The first chapter is a study of: The Ego and the Other, Identity and the Self. As for the second chapter, the researcher touched on the structures that were represented: paradox, rhythm: the external rhythm: rhyme, and the internal represented by repetition. While the share of the third chapter was the overlapping of literary texts represented by the overlapping of the religious text and the overlapping of the literary genres represented by the narration and the cinematic poem
