The effectıveness of teachıng wıth sımultaneous promptıng at the teachıng of the spangle processıng skıll to the desıgn on the fabrıc of individuals with mental retarded

In this research, the effectiveness of teaching with simultaneous prompting at the teaching of the spangle processing skill on the fabric individuals with mental retarded, was investigated. Furthermore, observe the permissive effect after one,two and four weeks of education, and also the effect of generalization with location, equipments, time, practising was investigated in this research.Research was investigated with three girl students aged between nineteen and twenty two who performing precondition skills to the spangle processing procedure's. Multiple probe design, daily processing, teaching and observing sessions were regulated to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching with simultaneous prompting to the design on the fabric at the teaching of spangle processing skill and one opportunity method was used for evaluation.All the sessions were carried out in a one to one instruction. Skill was taught in such a way that teaching all the steps together by using being model and verbal prompt together during the teaching. In the research, observations reliability and application reliability data were collected.At the end of the study, it was seen that teaching with simultaneous prompting is effective for the teaching of the spangle processing skill to the design on the fabric to the different location, different design and different equipments and spangle processing skill to the design which is taught on the fabric is also durable after one, two and four weeks later.Key Words: Mentally Retarded, simultaneous prompting, spangle processing, teaching of skill.
